Over the last year, I’ve had a lot of people tell me “I don’t know…
This month, Columbus CEO magazine announced the 2020 inaugural class of Future 50 leaders. Clicking through the slideshow of some of the most innovative and influential professionals in Columbus, we were excited to see a familiar face… Nevin Bansal!
The 2020 class will be featured in the upcoming January issue of Columbus CEO, but Future 50 isn’t all about recognition. They’ll be meeting up early next year to choose an Annual Project (or projects) that reflect the core values of Future 50: altruism, achievement, boldness, creativity and inclusivity. We look forward to seeing the exciting ideas they brew up to engage and enrich the community. With so many strong individuals banded together, they’re sure to do something great!
Since its inception, Nevin Bansal (CEO) and his team at Outreach have been an active contributor to the Central Ohio community. In 2018, Nevin created Small Biz Cares, a nonprofit designed to mobilize local small businesses to give back through volunteering, fundraising, scholarships, and storytelling. In the first year alone, SBC has engaged hundred professionals in community services days and special events. Recently, they hosted the first ever Tailgate for Charity, raising $3,300 for She Has a Name for their Strategies for Success Scholarship benefiting local survivors of human trafficking.
“I’m honored to join 49 other community leaders and creative thinkers as part of the first Future 50 class. I’m excited for this opportunity to come together to drive positive impact in our community and looking forward to collaborating & learning with this great group of leaders, many of whom I already admire and respect for their contributions to society.” Nevin Bansal
